This spring/summer we celebrate everything beautiful about Love. 

In the eyes of the lover there is nobody else but the one she loves. In short the theme is about wearing your Lover… with men’s trousers turned upside down and transformed into dresses for the girl, and oversized men’s shirt embracing the wearer in the form of a dress… etc.

For accessories we have Shirt Collar rings and bangles for the fingers and wrists, rings and pendants of love birds and ‘boy & girl’ silhouettes…… We also have our trademark ‘Crochet’ accessories this season in Pink Flamingo and Acid La-goon colours to match the spirit of Love this season!

Carga - Wool Felt from Argentina

Carga came about almost by accident. Having created a bag for himself out of industrial wool

felt left over from another project, Mauro took it with him to his architectural office where a

client loved it so much that he asked if one could be made for him too. The next day the same

client phoned and asked for the order to be extended to two additional bags. Soon the waiting

list grew with colleagues and friends all wanting their own Carga bag and the only way forward

was to find a workshop which could make the bags to the quality required and at a price that

was still reasonable.

Carga is a line of bags aimed at men who want something that is highly practical yet totally

wearable. The range combines sleekness with strength and consists of three different sizes

– a Notebook Tote, a Messenger Bag and a Weekend Bag.

Each bag is handcrafted using industrial wool felt, distressed leather and hardware

parts. The design speaks for itself with no visible brand logos anywhere. Instead Carga is

recognizable by a discreet metal disc hand-embossed with a unique serial number.

As a result, each Carga bag is now handmade in batches at a small family-run workshop in

Buenos Aires. Mauro believes that good design should speak for itself , and that is why the

brand name is only found on the inside of the bags. Instead, each is numbered with a unique

serial number. The name Carga was chosen since it means both 'to carry' and 'load' in Spanish.

Common Project - Italian Craftsmanship meets the American Casual

Common Projects is a collaboration between designers Prathan Poopat (former art director for Visionaire and V) and Flavio Girolami. Combining their collective industrial and graphic design backgrounds, the pair formed the company in winter 2004. Inspired by utilitarian design and luxury product, the designers set out to create minimalist design basics and accessories.

All shoes are  made in Italy using the finest leathers and materials. Common Projects shoes are hand stitched to the sole as opposed to vulcanized.

Inspired by fundamental architectures found in everyday objects, each product is infused with a tailored and executed using the finest materials and processes. Common Projects offerings are practical yet luxurious. The line endorses the companies dedication to basic footwear architecture and marks each shoe with only it's proprietary gold stamp on the heel.
