Common Projects started when co-creators Peter Poopat and Flavio Girolami decided tomake a couple of shoes that they’d like to wear, and that’s 2004.
Now, with no advertising or marketing campaign, Common Projects have become a staple item in the wardrobes of minimalistic trainer lovers worldwide. Seasons after season, their quiet and minimal sneakers have conquered the high-fashion world. With their high quality of materials and handmade techniques, Common Projects have released their Autumn Winter collection, including a very personal take on the dress shoe. Following their success in the sneaker’s world, Peter and Flavio are now spreading their wings into dress shoes, boots and accessories.

Common Projects have also collaborated with the great Moscot Originals from New York to produce their first model of sunglasses: Common Projects x Moscot Sunglasses. The frames take on a matte black finish with a hint of glossy tonal detailing and tinted lenses.
"In an era where collaboration is commonplace, many feel thrown together, lacking meaning or grace. However, these sunglasses are an example of this process at its best. It’sa marriage of two brands defined by their commitment to craftsmanship. Most importantly it feels fresh and interesting, something many collaborations fail to achieve. From the frames themselves to the minimal case and branding, the end product is beautifully executed. They fit as naturally into Moscot’s tradition of well built plastic frames as they do Common Projects’ renowned minimalism. Individually both brands are characterized by balance and consideration, in working together that’s been heightened." (hyr collective)
They will soon be launching their first small leather goods collection. The collection consists of two styles – an accordion wallet in three sizes and a zip wallet in large and small. Each piece comes in both black and metallic leather and all are simply designed with minimal branding.
The new collection of sneakers, wallets and sunglasses will be available in the second half of July in Kapok and and you may also visit our webshop for a selection of some of the latest products
