LAByrinth is an evolution of DNA Gifts, offered originally through DNA Tech Limited (a subsidiary of Hai Kang Life Corporation - which continues to process and certify all of LAByrinth's Amula DNA Jewellery.
It arose in 2005 out of a desire to explore the aesthetic of science and discovery, of how science and technology inform our cultural and self-perceptions.
It harnesses the fascination that drives scientists to make visible that which is not readily available or perceptible to our naked eye. It is those discoveries that LAByrinth views through its lens, revealing the beauty of what has been made visible…
…with the hope that beauty will inspire a question, and that question might inspire yet another discovery….
MISSION
LAByrinth seeks to bring to sight, to light, the beauty of science. Like a macro- and micro- scopic lens, It aims to envision life through the navigation of ‘imperceptible’ landscapes of all scales. LAByrinth executes high concept fashion and design pieces, which provoke us to ponder and appreciate how science and technology helps us understand who we are as human beings embedded in our environment… bringing people closer to science… "Amula DNA Jewellery" is one of the two product lines of LAByrinth of 21st century lockets containing DNA of a person, plant or animal in a glass vial.

…Map the Future is a collection of necklaces featuring the synthesized DNA of endangered or threatened species.
Each collectible item is accompanied by a booklet of facts, including the species’ cultural, spiritual and genetic histories as well as the current state of their survival.
