Bérangère Claire is a 29-year-old designer from Lorraine, currently working and creating out of her atelier in Paris. In 2007, she launched her own brand that was quick to gather notice by the fashion, music and art press and has been featured in Elle, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Les Inrocks, WAD, The Fader, amongst others. The brand has rapidly established its niche amongst an eclectic and ever-growing clientele. Bérangère Claire's designs include women's and men's wear, as well as accessories revolving around simple, comfortable and noble materials: cotton, wool, cashmere and duffle… Her inspirations from the codes of menswear are apparent in the simple yet sober lines of her collections. Each of her collections is a distinct balance between streetwear, athletic attire and high-end ready-to-wear. A distinctive emblem adorns each of the collection's pieces: a badge, which is a hybrid of U.S. college logos and that of the "Croix de Lorraine", a nod to her origins.
