founded in 2010, deck towels makes light,compact and sturdy towels in their studio in new york city,using eco-friendly linens sourced from all over the world. the first collection was inspired by a 1930s photograph of five belgian soldiers bathing in the meuse river, by imagining the sort of materials and patterns the soldiers might have used to dry off.
linen towels don’t hold in sand or odors like cotton, and are both faster-drying and more absorbent. they can simply be machine washed and grow softer with wear.
